Diet of Walking Flower Mantis

• The species is carnivorous, mainly catching other insects.
• Adults eat anything they can catch, including a wide range of flying insects and small lizards.
• They also eat little bits of banana.

Appearance and Features

• Most Orchid Mantises are white, but there is also a pink to purplish color morph.
• It is hard to be spotted due to its camouflage.
• When disturbed, it flies away into the air with a buzzing noise.
• When approached, the Orchid Mantis will raise its head in defense, making it easier to spot.
